So a mini twister threw three trees and a power pole on my truck. It crushed the bd up purty good and the hood but the rest is more or less unscathed. I was looking at my grandfathers 2011 F-150 and doing some measurements... The bed would be a little shorter but that don't bother me and Fiberwerx offers a 2004-up one piece front clip conversion. That got me thinking, 900 for front clip, 500 for bed and woo-lah... 1,400 gone and my truck would look like a one of a kind new truck. Anybody do something similar or see some flaws in my idea?

The 2005+ bed side height is much taller than the OBS trucks. It will not match up with the cab.

Actually I'm quite sure not one body line on the 2005 bed will be even remotely close.
