Question Is there a difference between power master cyl and manual master cyl?

I have been trying to figure ut what is wrong with the brakes on my 62 Uni. I installed Speedway's disc brake setup on the front of the truck and Wilwood's new adjustable Proportioning valve and a new dual master cylinder. I have bled everything several times, have great pressure at rear but not at the front. I have adjusted the valve in to take away pressure to the rear to no avail. I still have a crappy pedal. I can pump it up but that will not work on the street.
My question is there a difference or do they make a specific dual manual master cylinder for these trucke? The master cylinder I installed is from a CPP power brake setup but the booster will not fit with the brackets I have. I was going to use it on a 55 Chevy I had but since sold it so I had this sitting around and thought I would use the master cylinder on the truck. Now I am wondering if maybe a master cylinder that was being used in a power brake setup may not work in a manual setting. What do you think?

You may want to look into a residual valve.

Dual master cylinders intro'd in 1967, so no 1966 or earlier vehicles came with one.

Is the new dual master cylinder a disk/drum setup or was it drum/drum? It makes a huge difference. Disk brakes require more pressure.

I have no idea. I looked at it today and both chambers are the same size. I have really good pressure to the back and not much up fron so I am guessing that I have a dual cylinder for drum/drum or disc/disc
I am thinking I will just change out the master cylinder. Do I order one for a 72-79 F100 with manual disc brakes?

No disc brakes available in F100 2WD's until 1973. 1973/79 F100 2WD: Manual discs were standard equipment, power discs were optional.
