ABS light

ABS light
So it seems I have a intermitent electrical thing going on with my truck. It moves around like the ABS light came on and stayed on. Next time I started my truck it wasn't on. I have had my cruise control go off when using my turn signal. Just some weird stuff. Speedo needle bouncing around (I did take the VSS out and clean it). Not all the time, just sometimes....I did just have brakes done all the way around in June, would that have anything to do w/ thre ABS light? A couple years ago my computer went out and I put a rebuilt one in there instead of a new one. $$ was tight and it was 1/2 the cost. Not sure if that has anything to do w/ it. The cruise control thing happened before the computer went out, so I am thinking it's not the computer.

You already found it. The VSS is the sensor for the ABS. You may want to pull it out again, and peer into the hole and turn the rear wheel, so you can inspect the tone ring (reluctor) for damage or crud between the teeth.
Cruise / turn signal - specifically check the center stop light bulb in the cab roof.

The other thing that can cause ABS light on is the connection to the module underhood.
Pull the connection and check it. I think that is what my intermittent ABS light is.
You can short the connector under the passenger center of the dash (I cant remember exactly where) when the ABS light is on and it will flash codes at you. But if you turn off the ignition it will clear the ABS codes.
