I tried looking this morning around 7:30 am, but they only had the 2013 truck on the title page for the F-150, but couldn't do the "build your own" yet. Have been playing around with it for about an hour now. I was just getting on to announce it was up, but I am a bit late, haha.

I have been checking it every day for a little over a month. I start with fordparts.com to enter to win the Raptor, and then check the fordvehicles.com site for the 2013.

Some really cool new features...and I really love the look of the new HID headlights...it makes the front look mean.

No rear sensing system or rear view camera for the XLT!
There are a few nice features, but overall I have to say that I am happy I ordered my 2012 XLT HD payload!
I do like the new grills, the headlights, and the power folding tow mirrors, as well as that new blue color.

Turns out if I would buy a 2013 instead of my 2012, I would pay $965 more, and trade my:
- rear view camera and
- rear sensing system
for:
- power folding mirrors
- better looking grille
- 4.2" LCD cluster (not sure what that's used for)
- sirius radio (that's a disadvantage for me - do not want that at all).
I like the new blue color, but bottom line I am really happy with my 2012. I think I could get the grille & mirrors for the $1,000 I paid less easily if I really wanted (won't do that though). Still fun to play around with the configurator though.

they brought back the 3.55 LS rear option for the work trucks.
i'm thinking the E-locker cost them too many commercial sales. I know our fleet guys require a LS rear. not sure that the e-locker would have been too costly and thier bid might get rejected over cost. bout 120 bucks difference, but fleets count pennies.
just thought that was interesting.

I am troubled with decisions too...I found the perfect 2012 I was looking for...but also love the looks of the new truck and some of the added features. Also the way they changed the buttons etc. on the dash...the problem is that there are no rebates for the new trucks as of yet.
One thing I did notice was that the most expensive truck they have in the line-up, The limited, loaded up is still CHEAPER than the Platinum I was looking to buy!! How is that???? Ford must have had a price reduction. The My Key is a cool option as well as the 800 watt stereo system!!
I went out looking at trailers yesterday with a buddy of mine and realized just how small of a trailer the F150 would tow. Correct me if I am wrong here guys but I thought some of the Ultra lite's were pretty roomy inside??
The 2012 Platinum also only showed 9,800 lbs. towing capacity and I could have sore it was 11,000 with 4 wheel drive. It has me thinking about a super duty again which means more money for fuel and maintenance.
