Best place to buy wheel bearings?

Hey guys, I have to buy wheel bearings again for my Superduty. I have replaced them every 15-20k miles. Has 35s and 10" wide wheels so I guess is why it wears them out so fast. I have been buying these off brand wheel bearings off of eBay for the past few times. Have you had any luck with certain brands. Oem from ford is outrageously expensive. What have you bought?

4x4 2003 unitized. I wish they would of kept making real wheel bearings, instead of these junk things.

Some of the best prices I found are from RockAuto Auto Parts Timken and SKF make a quality bearing better off with them than cheapos.

If you have the extra money you could always eliminate the stock unit bearings with a Spyntec conversion kit. It replaces the stock unit bearings and hubs completely with more robust and serviceable tapered roller bearings spaced a lot wider than the unit bearing for more support. I believe Yukon makes a kit also. There are two downsides to this kit though. 1) Price
2) Manual hubs only.

Believe it or not, Autozone carries Timken wheel bearings with a lifetime warranty. When I damaged my rotor/hub/bearing assembly by not tightening them enough, I replaced them with Timken bearings from autozone.

Couldn't believe they carried them....

I bought my wheel bearings from StockWiseAuto.com, I was able to get Timkens for just under $200, and the shipping charges were very reasonable.

Ok I have always bought them off of eBay since they were cheaper. You get what you pay for. Ford dealer wanted $450 a piece. I'll try autozone I guess.

Just looked up the bearing you need on Amazon, they are $202.99 shipped. Good luck finding a Timken or other quality unit bearing for $68. Amazon is not the greatest for auto parts I have found better prices elsewhere. Amazon's descriptions and overall site suck IMO.

I am saving my money to remove my unit bearings and go with the kit from Dynatrac. While I am in there, I will replace the ball joints too. Yes it's expensive but you will only do it once and after that the bearings are easy to service.

Amazon's really is just Ebay in a new coat of paint.
Yf you look at both this way you will see.
They are online market places.
You get the Good, Bad and the Ugly.
Don't look for the cheapest set you can find.
