Just bought truck. 1995 F250 460 with duel tanks. Have been using the rear tank. Decided to fill both tanks. Switched to the front tank. Everything worked fine yesterday. Went to drive today and noticed the truck started and ran rough. Looked at the fuel gauge. It was on Empty, but I filled it last night. No fuel on ground or leaking. Switched to rear tank. Truck ran rough for a minute then smoothed back out. With the truck running off of the rear tank tried switching back to front. Just makes the priming sound but nothing registers on dash and truck starts to run rough. Priming sound does not go away when switched to front tank. Switched back to the rear and it runs fine and dash gauge works. Is my pump going out? Could it be a fuel filter? If it is the fuel filter is there one for each tanks line?
