I Need to find the vin on a 46 Coe. Where should it be?

Check the top of the front cross member that is under the radiator, and a little forward of the steering box.

That's where it is on my 41 COE. My 47 COE has paint there and I haven't tried removing it to see if the VIN is in the same place.
