Chase truck

So my son and I have a 89 F350 cclb 4x4 and we hang out with a group of guys that we go wheeling with. (blazers, broncos, jeeps, ect ) we are the only one with a aircraft carrier for a truck so we can't go some of the places they go but we thought we would build our truck in a chase truck put a winch on the front and maybe the back and a service bed with a small air compressor, tools, block and tackle, work lights....

my question is we are looking for a service bed with high departure angle. does anyone know were we could fine a used one or have plans for a bed kinda like this?

Hahaha
You ain't driving it right. LoL.
My extended cab longbed was hefty and long, but I had no mercy in wrecking stuff.
You'll definatly have fun with it. I'd stick with a regular flatbed with side boxes and a cross box. Then you can outfit a rugged lower side box in front of rear wheel and flush with cab bottom. You don't want a service body. They are expensive and no one likes to see a grown man cry when it gets smashed in.

yea we were think about that too. plus we may need to carrier 4 wheeler(atv's) also and a flat bed would be better for that.

One of the off road magazines built/had a bed built for a chase truck.
It had all the gear needed to support the race truck.
Try a google search.
I am sure they can provide plans for you.
