Had to do a roadside reair on my way home tonight.
Down shifting for an intersection and tranny made it into neutral, but the shifter got jammed up. Had to pull the boot, shift lever and the top seal with the ball. Inserted a long puch into the rail and lined it back up into neutral, put it back together and was on my way again. I am thinking now would be a good time to "upgrade". I've got a ZF on it's way and might bolt it to a NP205 t-case. Need to find the driveline measurements so I can get started on driveshafts. Time for a beverage. or 2.

Well i drove TGM today and boy it was rough. The engine is missing a lot now and when you let off the throttle going down hill or from driving fast it pops and sputters. I need to look at the dizzy cap and pull a couple spark plugs to see what the issue is. I had been thinking that maybe the plugs were fouled since i haven't been driving much and when i do it doesn't really get warm.

Don't have the money since my 63 just got painted...
Finished rear shackles and burned out old leaf spring bushings..
I like the way it sits with 1.5 " lift coils in the front
Sits level.. should have been factory ride height.. not whre the front sits lower like a pickup
..here's the pic...

Thats a great looking body on that 63!
I threw the front diff cover for the Bronco in my electrolytic solution to clean it up so I can paint it. I am going to put it back on to keep everything lubed until I can afford a gear swap.

I am planning on painting the diff covers and all of the exposed hub blue if I can find a blue to match my body color. I checked the cover and the solution is even peeling the crappy paint off so I decided to let it run a little longer so I have less to prep before I paint it.

I see. Blue would look pretty good. It's hard to imagine white diff covers haha.

Just check out the rear of my Excursion. White painted cover with the bolts painted black. I like to be different.
