What did you do to the Bronco Today?

They do look dated but you don't see them much anymore. I kind of wish my rims were maybe half an inch narrower. 11.5 inches is quite a bit of metal and gets awfully close to my tie rod end. I had 8.5 before on a 12.5 tire. The guys at discount said the wider rim will keep my tires healthier. Weather it's true or not i don't know but i still like them.

It's just exactly the look I always loved when I was younger. Maybe I'm showing my age, but I always build my vehicles similar to what they were "in the day." I'm a big fan of the so called Day 2 vehicles, lightly modified with what was available in the era when they were new.

Goodbye to the old Ion wheels that I never really warmed up to, and hello to the vintage Appliance Turbo Vec wheels I always envisioned on my Bronco. Detroit Vintage Wheels did a fantastic job refinishing and powder coating these wheels. I picked up some new shoes for the steed as well, Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC radials, 35x12.5-15.

SteelSteeds, I think the turbines turned out great and looks awesome with your bronco!! I also prefer the "period" correct most of the time. That is bad to the bone man!!

Haha Zip wins I think.
Back on topic, today I actually did something. I did a small tune up consisting of plugs and a fuel filter. My old baby was having a hell of a time running in the cold and just under normal operating standards. I plan to get a choke thermostat since mine doesn't work however since auto zone had none in Stock I'm going to order it online and shipped to my house. That way I don't have to wake up to go get it. Anyways, so my 2 rear spark plugs were fouled up pretty bad. I got em all replaced and it certainly runs better. Of course this was all after a shower of gas from a clamp I hadn't tightened all the way down. It sprayed at my fan and misted over me and the truck. That was like $3 in gas! Anywho, it runs and drives a little better and I found out my master cylinder is leaking brake fluid at the booster and there is a hissing sound after the truck shuts off. Looks like I'll need just an entire brake system for it.

Sounds like you will be very busy with TGM. I received the billet grille from LMC last week, but only today got the 3" hole saw I need to install it (for the hood latch extension) However, a friend called and wanted to know if I can use a kitchen cabinet, so instead of installing the grille today, I'll be picking up a kitchen cabinet. Maybe tomorrow.

It's amazing how many tools I look for, that I KNEW I had!! Friends and relatives come over and say, "Hey, can borrow this???" Kinda funny, friends usually bring them back.........relatives, not as much!
