SD steering column in OBS?

Does anyone know if I could take a steering column from a 99-03 or newer and put it in my 95?

Not a direct bolt-in swap, no. I tried it. The mounting holes are in different places between the two, and some of the electrical connections are different.

What are you trying to achieve?

The basic design of the steering columns are very similar up to about 07-08, but different enough to not bolt in. The wiring changes pretty significantly every few years too.

So, if it is a particular feature you are looking for let us know.
