This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Andre, Darren and Mitch, I have been asked to help a coworker put his truck on a diet soon! He has a 2011 that has gone out of warranty on miles, so he is ready. I made some recommendations for him parts-wise, and he should start collecting them soon. He has had a MM for many years though, so it already has the off-road capabilities built in. I suggested he come by and go for a ride so he could hear how they sound with straight pipes and factory resonators.

Well Doug .... the Africa playground trip is set. Apparently I am going. I offered to donate $10,000.00 to not have to go and no dice. Boss lady says if I like my job (and I do) I am going. April 7 - 25 2016 .... anyone up for a GTG in Zambia ?? :' (
Packing up the sea can next week and it will be off. We got some great donations to fill er up. The 2 playgrounds as you know, a bobcat with auger, generators, air compressors, rototillers, lawn mowers, trimmers, about 6 truck loads of clothes, tools and everything in between.
My buddy Don just dropped these 2 off, brand new.
I got 120 beer wrapped up in a box labelled "playground hardware" I sure hope make it thru customs.

Only 120 beers Darren? What will you drink during weeks 2 and 3?
You got some really awesome donations! It's for a great cause, so suck it up and quit whining!
Rodney, I don't think sounds translate very well from cell phone, to YouTube, to computer. There are lots of clips already on YouTube and even clips from exhaust manufacturers out there that don't sound like the real - in person - thing. What I really want him to hear though is the interior noise at speed, as he is as concerned about drone as I was. Trying to record that, you will only hear the A/C running during playback. It is seriously THAT quiet inside. Someday very soon, I will open all of the windows and stand on it to see what that sounds like, but so far I am happy without a muffler. I sort of like the screech of the wastegate opening when letting off of the throttle, and listening to the turbo spool down when shutting off the engine is cool, but I can only hear it if I do a remote start and stop while by the rear of the truck.
My coworker's truck is a short bed, but I doubt it makes any difference at all in sound, since he is just missing the extension from the factory, but still has the same pipe over the axle with the same resonator and same tips as mine has.

Darren props to you and the company for stepping up and doing such a wonderful act of kindness. You'll be fine on the plane...reading, music, movies and naps are your friend. On that long of a trip, even alcohol isn't the solution, lol. Just think about how much the family will miss you . Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

Darren, that travel would suck. I have made some long flights myself over the years, and there is only so much to do to fight the extreme boredom. Even stretching your legs becomes a challenge at times, and there are only so many times that my elbow will get rammed by a service cart before I get irritated. Hopefully, there are also no crying babies coming along. The only really long flight I have ever been on and was happy about, was coming home from Saudi Arabia at the end of Desert Storm. There was no alcohol, but no crying babies either.
