I know it was under somber circumstances though, and I'm sorry for that.
Anyway, when you passed by the Hardy St. exit on I-59 (passing Hattiesburg), you were just a few miles from the House, so, if you're ever back this way, and not under the gun, I have a cold beer and hot meal for you!
I actually thought about you when I passed by each direction. Saturday morning, I passed the exits at about 10:15a. This morning, it was more like 2:00a - seriously... How did tree planting go this weekend?

Gavin, that slingshot thing looks like fun.

I recall Clark W Griswold trying to pass an old Dodge pickup with his Taurus station wagon (Christmas Vacation), and ended up UNDER a logging trailer. The mini-van was probably too tall to do that though. I'm not sure why people want to drive slowly, but then don't want you to pass either.

Don, besides the typical Richard Craniums out there, there seems to also be an abundance of drivers with severe recto-cranial inversion. In 1,600 miles between saturday morning and this morning, I ran across several of each.

Even though I prefer stock trucks, yours and a few others are exceptions.

Seems to be a lot of those out there for some reason. In my truck it's easy to outrun them on a 2-lane when you pull out to pass and they speed up, my son had a guy do the same and his old Jetta ran out of steam. For the ones that like to hang right beside me on a multi-lane I find that wandering around between my lines tends to get them to back away.

Good morning guys!

Doug, glad to hear you are enjoying Bear that much more. My truck does the same with some black smoke once in a while. I don't "roll coal" intentionally and can't really say I like seeing others do it, but that's just not my style. That being said, if I hit it and I leave a warning shot of black smoke, then you know I'm coming. Kind of like a horn in a way, lol.

So one of my adult leaders is teaching SAR (search and rescue) this weekend at a Scout Fall Camporee. I usually teach it but can't because of a game on Saturday. He is more than qualified if not more qualified. The scouts are in good hands, but he is just as concerned as I usually am with the little amount of time he has to teach the merit badge. I gave him all the time saving tips that I have and hope it goes well for all of them.

Happy hump day all

My truck achieved it's Maxx potential mid-June. It's still in the box though as I have yet to pick up the delete pipe. Thinking I will try the tunes soon, then do the DPF exorcism and wait on the EGR.
