Morning guys...now that I am one day away from camping, they have changed the forecast to rain all day Friday and snow/sleet mix Sat morning. You know what! I will be camping in the rain and sleet

Cloth doesn't get as cold or hot as leather does. It breathes better so the same heating element should work better. But I still wouldn't put it past VW to put a better heating element in the seats. They seem to do cold climate stuff well.
My steering wheel heater and seat heater works awesome in my 2015 Ford. TO the point I have to turn it them off (or the seat heater down) after 15 minutes. They work well in the leather seats n my VOlt as well.
I do notice that the colder it is out, the better it seems to work. Probably because they are getting much hotter faster than the air temperature is.

Roy - If the president declares marshall law to prolong the presidency and become a dictator, I don't think he is going to have enough people behind him to make it a civil war. I hope I don't eat those words later.
Ohh just found out they are shipping your boat to you. Supposed to get it next week, which means it will arrive in January 2021.

Darren, any developments in the steering box? Did you get a chance to get some stop leak in there? Where are you filling yours? I haven't looked at mine lately, but I recall it being a sealed unit.

Howdy boys! I was lazy until 8:00 this morning, then I've been making up for it since. I managed to get a lot done around the house that nobody would even notice but me, but it was stuff that's been bugging me for a while and now I feel better. The weather sucks today anyway, so there was nothing better to do than to work inside the house and garage.
Darren, thanks for posting the link to Gavin's project. That thing is AWESOME! I wish I had half of his talent, tools, shop space and patience. Instead, I MAY have a tenth. Maybe you should have him rebuild your PS gearbox.
Andre, glad you put that little reminder out there about the rules. It would suck to have the thread closed over something like this. I guess we all feel a little passionately about certain things and it's easy to get a little wound up when discussing them sometimes. I also agree with Roy.
Monty, even in the rain and sleet, I'm sure camping will still be great. Granted, sunny shies would be better, but being away from the hustle and bustle is always nice.
I bottled cider experiment #2 this morning. I'll see how it turned out in 14 days or when my diet ends - whichever is last. If the bottles don't explode, I expect it will be very good. It will at least be VERY different from the first batch, which I wasn't happy with.

I am going camping over the big superbowl weekend, and so far for W. Central AZ, the forcast looks to be gorgeous! Hope it stays that way! Gotta find some new trails for the RZR!

The leg is doing much better today.......The magic turning point....
Still hurts.....still some swelling......But, Much better.....
If the morning goes well......I'll get a little work done.....
