From the looks of the tread I'd assume it would be fine in the mud and might actually be better in snow than the Nitto. But what do I know
Thanks for your help Shawn!

I guess no winter is me, I leave Anchorage gets 14 inches of snow and this weekend will hit -20F. We shall see what happens when I get back. If all the snow melts.... We know.

Hi Roy !
I'm in the recliner too, but I'm just tired from the remodel work.
I had some help from a snowmobiling buddy of mine today and we got most of the heavy work done.
then the wiring will begin.
The spray foam insulation guy stopped today and said he is ready when I am!!
So I better stay with it !
I know how you feel with the bad leg. I spent 3 months with mine elevated most of the time in 2010.

GM uses the Allison... Dodge now uses an optional one called the Aislin. It's fairly new. Made in the same plant as the Allison.

If you get a Diesel it may be standard. Not sure as I haven't researched Dodges to that granularity. I have seen it as an option on gas build sheets.

What I've got is great, but not THAT great. No popcorn and not quite $150/hr.

Ram has three tranny options. They have a 6sp manual with the lowest HP tune on their engine, the middle of the road 6sp auto with the middle of the road tune on the engine, and the "Aisin" 6sp auto which is supposed to be a medium duty tranny comparable to ours, and it comes with the highest HP tune for the engine. GM uses the "Allison" from big truck fame. Aisin has been building trannies for Toyota for many years now.
