Same thickness of regular steel and they go right thru, I have tired LOL
Thanks Andre
I need to try that out sometime. I'll have to look online to find some targets. If it will handle a 7 mag, it will handle the .50 AE. I did shoot it through both beads of a steel rim once though. From there, the slug went through one side of an old fridge, but didn't pass through the other side.
Evening Gents.....It's been awhile, gave up on trying to catch up on everything, ya'll been busy!
Anyway, after a 21 day stint out here, I was able to go in last Monday, spent Tues. in redundant, useless, boring, time consuming, pointless classes for my employer, was able to put a small dent in the normal routine BS projects that accumulate in an extended absence on Wed. and Thurs. phone rang about 14:30 Thursday afternoon, "be back at the heliport at 05:00 Friday"..... Oh well, here I am.
Hope everything is good with everybody, stay safe out there!

Ugh, wife and I are second guessing the remaining choices and may give up on our search until we find one that gives us a warm and fuzzy. I'm absolutely sick and tired of looking at homes.
On another note, the house we like by us just broke contract, but again, we would be working to be pay the ridiculous property taxes. We may go walk through it anyways.
Mitch, good to hear from you. Time for some R&R.

Hello all fellow time wasting truck owners chatting up a storm ! lol.
Just dropping in to say hi, and also an important message.
If anyone is like me, you never paid any attention to the damper on the front of your engine.
Well, during a project I started; https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...0-project.html I came across a 6.4 diesel truck that indeed had a failed harmonic damper pulley. The rubber is crinkled and destroyed.
So, once you get some miles on your rig, remember to check her out somehow.
I know many of you might know all this already, but I really never heard about damper failures before. I did not realize they are a wear item.
So yeah, HI!!!! and if you have 100,000 or 200,000 go check your damper lol.
