Doing a quick check in, things are going slow with the packing... still have a lot more stuff to take to the dump... Top it all off my cat got hit by a car today. Couldn't save him.

Wife and kids are devastated too. I know it will all work out. The cat was old but was hoping to get a few more years with him up in Alaska.

Looking like I will be doing some winter driving in a Uhaul... A little nervous since Uhaul uses gas chevies...

I imagine U-Haul switched to all gas because of idiotic customers putting gas in the tanks.

Dak, last time we heard from you, you were feeling ill. Are you feeling better now? I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. I'm sure it's especially tough on the wife and kids. Pets really are members of the family. Good luck with getting packed up and moving. Stay safe and good luck with the chebby.

Congratulations Roy

Guess that means I should get mine next Thursday possibly

Now for bad news, appears our web security thing at work (work at a school district) no longer likes FTE... Sometimes I can read the forums, but I cannot post or anything else. Talking to my friend in the tech dept. hoping he can put it on the 'approved' list again

Have a great night all.

Sorry for your families loss Dak.

My wife, at the time just girlfriend, lost her cat of 15 years. He was also old, not in great health, but a good kitty just the same. It got to the point where he was suffering. I know it was hard for her and she took awhile to get used to him not being around. She has another cat that is about the same age and is also starting to have some problems too. I think she is better prepared now, but he, like all pets become part of the family.

Time does heal most things.

Hows it going fellas! Been pretty "slammed" at work and had to go to a school that required me to be at work from 4:00am to 6:00pm for a month straight. Anyways, it looks like you guys haven't slowed down in this thread at all. I was trying to go back and re-read, but damn it! You guys have made two new pages of posts since I've been trying. I only have 3 questions if you guys could help me.

Darren what ever happened with your truck? I clearly saw it in the picture when you were beaver hunting, but what was the "problem" and how did they fix it?

Gerry, What is wrong with the garage? Last time I saw it, it wasn't all the way finished.

sgt93, Has the insurance called you about the fishing rods? I have a couple of $350 custom rods that are all handmade here in the USA, I would CRY and probably hunt down until I found those people who stole them.

Dak, sorry for your loss, hope you are feeling better. Driving a UHaul all the way to Alaksa could probably be a TV mini series on its own. Safe travels brother.

Matt, I'm waiting to hear back from them again, mprobbaky tomorrow, but it sounds like I'm screwed. It's great having high end gear until someone steals it from my you. What a pisser.

Where is 720deere?

Finally a good Thursday Night Football game.
