This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Neither of my mirrors pwr extend and only one folds. I was told they're not covered by extended warranty.
Range Rovers are part of the group of "if you ask for a repair quote you can't afford it" group of vehicles. Includes BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Hopefully you be able to sit again within 24 hrs
Carl, if you end up doing the run up thru River Rd before you leave town just wanted to let you know that the section of road north of Primrose to the next concession was gravel when I drove thru there on the weekend, it's getting repaved. If you don't mind running gravel then no problem.

Thanks...we've been "all in" for about 8 years now. I was a cubmaster for 5 years, assistant scoutmaster for 3 and I'll be taking over as scoutmaster in July. My older son presents his Eagle project to the committee tonight. My youngest is Star rank. My wife is our treasurer and my daughter was a Venturer for a few years as well. We are a scouting family and I don't see that changing any time soon
Steve, I had a Porsche back in the 80's. I found a good independent shop that specialized in European cars. They also sourced third party parts. Maintenance cost me right at half of what the Porsche shop charged.

Actually, Brownies is for girls in elementary school early on and then they move on to Girl Scouts (not sure of the age or much about Girl Scouts as my daughter tried it for 2 years and hated it). Venturing is coed and for kids 14 - 21. From what I hear, Girl Scouts is is going to be cease to exist and become part of Boy Scouts. I think most of the integration has been worked out, but they are working on the tangible physical assets of the Girl Scouts. That get's very tricky because many assets are donated for a specific purpose by people that are no longer with us or perhaps don't agree with the decision. Bottom line, they are working towards it.

OA was a lot of fun. I remember tasks I chose to handle (logistics of evening events and such) kept me away from my troop for a lot of hours during multi-troop camps but OA was a part of scouting I'm glad I didn't miss.
Yes, you would think you would do what it takes to protect yourself from the weather but those aren't the requirements. There were exceptions for severe weather though. In the south during summer, rain won't hurt anyone but laying in water or having wet gear was never fun. For some reason, it wouldn't be scouting if there wasn't rain at some point...LOL.
I remember being placed on a trail up a mountain and eventually sliding on my tarp (a few feet) until I stopped at a tree and that's where I spent the night to keep from rolling. Good times...haha. Sitting here writing this, I remember almost everything about that weekend and the Brotherhood membership weekend.
