Darren - What anti-virus program are you using as well. Mbytes is usually pretty good. And I use AVG for the moment. I change them around every once in a while - And I also like Ad Aware too.
What is it doing? The actual website for arcade yum has an uninstall guide which makes me think that maybe you have some other virus/malware on your system. (Like a trojan)
Do you have a CD/DVD drive that you can boot from on that box or can you boot from USB? One of the things I like to do is boot from a USB/CD that is designed to do a virus scan with a clean OS. That way the infection doesn't have a chance to cloak itself.
If you have the above ability I'll start looking for something for you. I used to use Ultimate Boot CD - but it doesn't appear that it has anti-virus built in anymore.

Dak, I think it is windows antivirus but not sure. It is the computer the wife and kids use ... which is why it is fd up! First time I ran malwarebytes it found 167 thingys......
I don't know anything about boots other than the ones on my feet......
