Front tank fuel pump question.

They say the front tanks in 96 model F250s are pretty good at the fuel pump not working.\Others have told me it could be just the switch on the dash not working. I need you guys feed back about how to trouble shoot getting the front tank fuel pump to work again without ripping the truck tank out to fix. Help! lol (not funny, just tired of this)

Same here.....

My front tank seems to work ok if I'm cruising and hardly touching the gas, but if I have to accelerate, it starts bucking like I'm out of gas.

This diagram for a 1991 F-series is the same as your 1996:

Verify voltage is leaving the switch for the front tank when it is selected. The Red (R) wire supplies power to the front tank. Put your meter or test light on the wire and a ground to measure/test for voltage.
