Pulled the Uni out of storage yesterday to work on the transmission and now I have a few questions. I have the 61 service manual with the 62 supplement and could not find anything on the trans cooler. A little back story on the truck. I found it in a field drove it home, the radiator is not stock. It is an aftermarket unit with a built in trans cooler. Can I by pass and plug the holes in the block and run lines up to the radiator? Here is a photo of my supply line to the factory cooler.



I am not happy with how the Previous owner ran the supply.

I am not sure, but I think this is a vent. I is right under the cooler in-between the supply and return lines on the transmission. anybody have an idea of what that is?



then this one has thrown me for a loop. It is on the drivers side and runs up to the engine block, but has been cut and plugged right at the exhaust manifold. I have no idea what it is for, do any of you?
