Eng. is a 351W,AOD trans and yes red and black on the inside.

Thanks for the replies. It's not going to be a show truck just a good truck to get in and drive . But with that said it is all going to have a lot of new and up date things. I want to be able to say to the wife let's go for a right and hangout with my hotrod friends.

I keep the straight axle and put disk brake's and power steering on it.

I like that black! Looks great! Are you going to install a/c ? your hotrod friends might roll their eyes, but the wife may enjoy it! Forget the power steering, she can scoot closer and help ya drive!

Black and red will always look awesome on old cars and trucks in my opinion. Looks great please keep us up to date on the progress. Great job by the way
