The Friday funny:
Henry Ford dies and goes to heaven. At the gates, an angel tells Ford, “Well, you’ve been such a good guy and your invention — the assembly line for the automobile — changed the world. As a reward, you can hang out with anyone you want to in Heaven.”
Ford thinks about it and says, “I wanna hang out with God, Himself.” The befeathered fellow at the Gate takes Ford to the Throne Room and introduces him to God. Ford then asks God, “Hey, aren’t you the inventor of Woman?”
God says, “Ah, yes.” “Well,” says Ford, “You have some major design flaws in your invention:
1. there’s too much front end protrusion
2. it chatters at high speeds
3. the rear end wobbles too much, and
4. the intake is placed too close to the exhaust.”
“Hmm …” replies God, “hold on.” God goes to the Celestial Supercomputer, types in a few keystrokes, and waits for the result.
The computer prints out a slip of paper and God reads it. “It may be that my invention is flawed,” God replies to Henry Ford, “but according to my computer, more men are riding my invention than yours.”

Just got done with a car show up at the Sears in Puyallup, it went ok but the only thing i walked away with were some papers and a sunburn all over my face and neck. Sun screen is for wimps!. Though i entered for the Ford truck class i should have entered in the Teen driver class, i had no chance at winning. I was parked next a nice red older 50's ford, and there was a nice blue f-100 on the other side. I got pics but at the moment i am a bit to busy (lazy) to upload them.

Alroghty, time for the pics. Since this was a mustang club show there was A TON of mustangs there. though i only got pictures of my area since i was in the back end of the parking lot, it was hot out and i had already been walking around. In a few of them you can see the masses behind TGM. Anywho here is what i have.
This is where they parked me, you can see the issue with me not having much of a chance
Part of the projects class and the teen drivers class, there was a ranger that i don't think i got that the owner is doing a 5.0 swap. He is going from a 2.3 to a 5.0 with a C4 auto.
Here is the red f-100 on the left of TGM, and the rest of the custom class for the pre 70s i think.
Here is a ranchero that was also in my class competing. next to it is the Ford trucks that are 1980 and up to present, there was an SVT raptor and a f-250. There was also that maroon 87 ranger there, the front is kinda smashed but it just goes to show that everyone has something to show.
THis was the projects class i think, i am pretty sure it is.
As promised, here are the trucks i mentioned earlier.
Unfortunately this was in my class against ol TGM. Don't get me wrong though, this flat bed was AWESOME, i just had NO chance against it. If i remember right it was a 39 flat bed.
And of course, the glory shot. I had to get TGM in there. you can see a few cars in the back ground. That isn't even half of where they are.
There is the hotrod/cutoms class for the early years. These were pretty slick too.
Can you guess what this is?
My friend David ended up in a few shots. This is his 2nd car show ever so i figured it would be a good one for him
One word "B E A Utiful!"
I'm not sure what place this guy took but i am pretty sure it was 1st for my class.
I don't know much but i am pretty sure the wood is real wood and not laminate
Over all, it was a great show, i got some nice comments and got to help people out by loaning some tools. These are probably 10% of the cars at the show are pictured here. there was a lot of cars.
