looking for a Spanner lock nut Wrench
I have a 92 F-150 4x4, with the Dana 60 manual front hubs. I was looking to change the front rotors, a local shop I use wanted $700.00 to change the rotors, calipers and pads. Ouch, cant afford that. Im looking to sell the truck anyway, and I am a mechanic, I can do the job but can not find a Spanner Lock Nut Wrench (D85T-1197-A), anywhere!!!. I called my local Discount Auto, and Autozone, no luck. I may have to make one at work, wish I could buy one, somewhere , it would be worth the money I save by doing the job myself.

Unless someone swapped in a solid axle Dana 60, that truck will have a TTB Dana 44.

rla2005 , thanks that looks about right, I guess I can order it online or call around my local Auto zones and see if they have it. Im wondering how that will work though looking at the pictures of the nut, the holes appear to be round, where that wrench has basically square lugs.
# 4 is the nut, guess Ill have to buy it and see.

there two nuts and a lock washer. the first nut you will take off is smooth on both sides and is the jam nut, then there is a washer with holes in it that corrispond with a dowel on the inner nut, make sure you dont install them wrong, the washer keeps the inner nut from moving after reassembly. the notches in the nuts are square and should be 4 of them
