I was tempted to buy this intake just for the upper to put on my 351, but have decided against it.

So I'm passing along the link so that maybe one of you can get a great deal.

To be fair and not have friends bid against friends, the first person to reply saying "I'm going to bid on this" gets to have it. I hope the link works normal with that Mobil crap added onto it. If not then try removing it.

That's a nice upgrade for a 5.8(need the 5.8 specific lower however) but it's wasted money on the 5.0 since the stock intake is already just as good if not better.

 

Yeah. I completely agree.
It was just too much for me to buy just for the upper.
I ended up using the milling machine to hog out my 351 lower to the 302 upper intake.
And going to mill the head ports of the intake out to the gasket size.
I'm very happy with the result so far, I just wish I had a flow bench to use.

Or if someone is willing to guinea pig this bad boy, and spend the money on Dyno time, I'll give them this lower intake (in return for theirs) then they bolt on a 302 upper and see if there is a gain. I'll need to work out details with the person directly.

Anyway back on track. Still a decent upgrade for someone I guess. Even if it's just for looks on a 302.
