my 76' f100 biggest tires that wont rub ?

hi guys just got me an old 76' f100 never been lifted or anything, anyway i was thinking about buying some
35"x 12.50R 15 LT



tires right now i have 31'X10.50R 15LT my question is if i get the new tires will they be ok and not rub or anything just wanted to get some input from experts before i jump thanks all

Well I know that 33's will work. But not sure about 35's. I think they would rub a little.

That's a 2" increase in tire diameter (per side) and a 1" increase in tire width (again, per side), break out the tape measure and see if you'll have any clearance issues.

I've ran 33x12.50x15 on stock F150 and had no problems, though they rubbed on the outside rail of the very low flatbed that was on the back. They did not rub on a truck with the factory bed. I also ran 33x14.50x15's (which I've never seen since) and they did rub at full lock. A 35 will fit if you trim the front fenders, but I think its still gonna have issues at full lock. With full sheetmetal and stock ride height I don't think they will be a good fit. My 35's wouldn't fit on my truck until I installed the lift. They literally wouldn't fit under the fenderwells and onto the hubs.

I am running 32x10.5r15 and they fit with plenty of room. Planning on 33x12.5r15 in the next month or so. No doubts they will work.

As far as 35s go... Install leveling coils and helpers at least.
