Smile the unsafe pieces of an v6 4,0 ??

well hello world of ford friends !!!

my qestion is this were to find horsepower in an 4,0 v6 series one engine (91-94)

i got to do more in it but i found many in this forum they say its not so mutch to do on this engine

my qest is do the engine have any unsafe place in side the body of engine looks wery strong in my eyes

tell me how the heads are i do maybe you can take out more power from the heads but how to do the right way?? someone now??

i wanna get some good power but not as an madness ones but well about 200-up to 275 well but it have to be safe to for engines

and then the gearboxes aod4l somethings i think can i build up stronger or is this good enough??

pleas tell me well i do building my one lift kit pics will come soon thx my all ford friends..

The 4 liter v6 of those years was rated at about 155 HP and maybe 220 lb-ft torque. The water passages in the heads prevent them from properly clamping down on the head gaskets, so they can easily blow when over stressed, such as with overheating, or forced to produce significantly more power than stock. If you wanted to make major engine modifications to get more power, the first thing to do would be to replace the heads with better versions. I've heard that there are aftermarket heads that are much better than the stock designs, but I don;t know much about them.
