Wheel Confuzzion

I have a 2001 F250 5.4L with a 4" BDS Lift

Going with 35's (315/75R16)

Looking at the Mickey Thompson Classic II rims in either 16X8 or 16X10 and wanted to confirm the fit and about how far they would stick out versus stock so I called Mickey Thompson.

He told me the 16X8 would be in the range I want them. Then he told me 16X10 can not be used on that small of a tire. He said it was too narrow so I confirmed we were talking about the same tire. Tire manufacturer list rim width 8-10 inch.

I would like the 10" rim in case I get 37's in the future. What do you all say? Good with the 10" rim or be safe with the 8"?

Edited: Just in case your thinking 37's with a 4" lift....ewww. The rear got closer to 6 and the front 4 1/2 so it could still use a leveling kit.
