Question Service Interval on new 6R140 in heavy 550's ??

Does anyone actually trust the info in the 2011-2012 F-550 owner's manual stating 150,000 service on their new 6R140 6-speed trans?
We have 2- 550's and a 350 and all state this in the owner's manual. Both 550's are carrying 18-19,000 at ALL times. ( Service Trucks )
We change engine at 5,000 and now the 2011 has made it to 47,000 and is heading in for a recall and I have been going in circles with Service Manager on whether to service trans at 50 or let it go.
Any info or advice is appreciated. Both 550's are 6.7 diesels, and the 350 is the 6.2 if it matters.

Thanks in advance for any help.

In theory, yes, the interval should be fine...IMHO, change it out in 1/2 that timeframe.

Even in the FL heat with the race hauler I see little to no increase in temp. I will keep an eye on it as time goes on as well as a visual on the fluid. Guess a little old school common sense still goes a long way.
