Your gamble was well worth it, I still have the SRX I bought new in 98, and have added a few since then. Yamaha made the best sounding, best running tripples on the snow (and grass, and ice, and asphalt...)

SRX800, the sled Yamaha should have built as the next progression of the SRX (prior to the 4-strokes).
Some day I might just have an SRX that big, or an 835...
