7.3 diesel connecting rod advice needed
I have a 1990 7.3 diesel ranch truck and it has been great to me so I would like to fix it. The head gasket went last week and it hydro locked and blew out a piston and connecting rod. The heads look fine and I will have them decked but it bent a rod. I found several places who sell pistons but can't find any place which sells connecting rods. the rod is shot but the cyl looks great. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply Freightrain. The motor is worth rebuilding as I use the truck to get hay, etc and even pull a 3 horse with it. We have an 08 diesel we pull the trailer with as well. I found a core motor for $300 so I figure I'll get the piston and rod out of it and have the options of using the heads, etc. Heck I'll pull the glow plugs off it too since mine are shot. My cylinder walls are perfect which is hard to believe.
Any suggestions for cleaning my injectors?
