Alright so I ran into a problem I went to turn on my passenger side dome light in my '06 F150 supercrew and it will not turn on. i just replaced the bulb and still nothing. anyone know if it could possibly be a blown fuse or something simple? Thanks in advance.

 

I would test it for power, could just be a bad bulb though

 

I will test for power and see what happens but its not the bulb cause i switched it over to the good socket and it worked fine.

 

Check the socket for power, if no power, then work your way back. Check the switch, wires and so on. I would think the power runs from the other socket to this one. I doubt that ford ran 2 power leads to the same light

 

Well the left side turns on when I push on the lense to turn it on or when I open door. I will take a picture or video of it and post it.

 

I would guess the problem is in the light itself. Maybe a broken wire or dirty contacts

 

I will try to clean it out and try again and also I will test it for power. Thanks Dano I appreciate the help.
