This would probably do better in the classifieds section. The stock push bars are getting harder to find, but they're still out there.

I looked for quite a while for another one after finding one on a 79 bronco (I got the black bumper and the bull bar for 30 bucks), its on ol silver now.

Then I stumbled onto like 4 in a row for like 20 here 25 there....got one on my blue truck, sold one for 40 (duh), have 1 spare and let a fellow FTE buddy earn the other spare I had.

BTW still looking good there Alan, and thanks again for the help, I think it was reds eng swap?

To il2xcell8 post up a WTB add on Craigslist and in the WTB classifieds section on here.

Jeff's Bronco Graveyard shows them as a "cactus pusher", but they are for a EB (Early Bronco).

If you do find a factory bull bar keep in mind there is a little difference in the 73-77 versus a 78/79. The difference is in the top mount plate holes, but it is modifiable to work.

Ive seen a ton of this style around here, but mines the thickest Ive seen. I think they were aftermarket cause the welds are BEAUTIFUL, and the notch fits the front bumper perfectly. Mines a good 1/2 think on the uprights.

Not that I know of, and I have never see any after market companies make one styled like the factory bar either. Just the flat side plate, put together ones, but at least you can get one in chrome.

Earthquake68 was toying around with the idea of bending up some tubing to sort of maybe look like the factory one......heads up Alan maybe more work for you, lol.

As far as JBG, they show them, but do not think they carry them anymore, but ya never know.

Here is a example of the chrome one, NOT my truck BTW, to much chrome IMO. Just wanted to show a example of the push bar....

Now as far as the red one, it had more pipe coming on the outside of the flat plates and after a little smoke wrench adjustment, I like it.

It is contoured to the bumper, mounts with the side plated bolted to the frame with the front spring bolts, and the top bumper bolts thru the frame.

Has side hooks that double as steps and is tough as hell. Would be very easy to have a welding shop copy, I can provide the measurements and a cardboard pattern??

And of course ol blue's factory one, just the right amount of chrome IMO. But it I have to hit/push something I would feel better using ol reds bar for sure.

our junkyard had one of the stock round bar ones as pictured above. They don't have grille guard's on their price sheet though, and I was in a hurry and it was hot as ****, so I didn't bother to pull it and try to find out how much it was.

prolly gone now, but if its there next time i go maybe I'll pull it if they are so rare.

All I can say about the first truck is wow. It doesn't get much better than that. Perfect tires, nice amount of lift, cool visor, good paint. Don't mean to get off topic in this thread, but that truck is outstanding.

Yea I imagine that they are far and few between these days, but like I said I can provide the measurements and side plate pattern off the one on the red truck if you just want to get a welding shop to fab it up? Should be cheap enough, let me know.

Any chance you could alter the measurements for that to fit a '73 ? I'm looking for a similar bar like the one on old red.
