Could you give me the measurements from center of radiater suport to center of axle. How much is between bottom of oil pan to crossmember. And how wide the crossmember is. Thankyou. And you did a very nice job on your prproject! I am putting a 7.3 powerstroke in mine and the oil pan is making this more complicated. Lol. I have already cut the twin i-beam and crossmember out and it fits. Would rather go with the way you did it instead of leaf springs and a straight axle. Thanks again

Where did you find the steering shaft you installed it looks collapsible which will be safe in a collision, not that I would want to experience one.

Latest madness that is in the works. I got a disc brake swapped fully rebuilt axle with limited slip and 31 spline axles ready to drop in and just picked up a 94' Mark VIII DOHC 4.6 to swap out for my old faithful 300. Should be a fun ride when all this gets dropped in.

I'm wanting to put the same motor in my '78, will continue following for details on what you run into on the swap. Are you going to run the AOD-E behind it?

No AOD, I LOVE my manual trans, going with an M5R2 out of a 4.6 powered F150 in order to keep the correct shifter position.

Working on cleaning up the motor, found a mod motor m5r2 just need to swap the shift fork assembly to move the shifter forward. Got an oil pan from a 99 navigator dohc for some more oil volume. Hopefully ot all fits.

I'm wanting to do the same motor in my F100 once I get my CV swap done & frame painted (stoopid winter...) I'll be waiting & watching with interest to see how it goes together.
