if th erubber has deteriorated, wouldnt it be best to replace the balancer, my belt runs off of the balancer!

balancer good, timing dead on, fuel filter brand new... anyoen ever had a torque converter go bad???? did it have the same symptoms????? i found a few articles suggesting a bad converter or "going bad" converter... anyone?

Torque converter or catalytic converter.
