I am looking for a passenger side grille insert to replace the missing one on our 01 Ex Limited. If anyone has one from a wreck or an extra that you would be willing to part with I am in desperate need. Thanks.

grill insert?

 

What I saw on ebay was the billet inserts, Im looking for the oem side insert, mine is missing entirely on the passenger side. You can see what Im talking about in the pic.

 

I'm not 100% on the aftermarket, but OEM sells thoem as part of the grill.

 

Might be a tough one.

 

I will look tomorrow to see if the left one I have would work for the right.

 

I found my inserts last night. I'll get them in the mail to htcman74 today or tomorrow. Glad to get them to someone that can use them.

 

Correct. The only part of the Excursion grille available by itself is the blue oval emblem. The rest of it is only furnished as a one piece assembly.

In case any of y'all are unaware, Ed was a well respected FTE member and the parts manager of Horizon Ford. Ed suffered a stroke in January 2011, is now retired.

 

I just got a full set of inserts on Ebay for $40

Ill second that. Although I am new to the Excursion family I have been on the 6.0 side for quiet some time and they are a great group just like the ones on here.

 

I looked today and there's no way to just snap the right side one into the left side hole. I guess you could if you really had to, but it would require quite a few modifications to make it fit, and then it still probably wouldn't look right.
