5.4L to 4.6L

Mornin' ya'll,

I havent spent alot of time in this neck of the woods as i only been usin my Heritage as a drive and work truck. I am coming it to 2 more a 99 and a 01, my questioin:

Will a 4.6L marry up straight in place of a 5.4L, if not what needs to be changed updated modded, carried over and so forth. I don't plan on this being terribly easy just lookin to get the info. If there is already a thread please feel free to direct me there, and I apologize. Ya'll take care and thank you ahead of time,

KCCO,
Boomer

That's kinda going the opposite direction of most swaps as most people go to a larger engine rather than smaller.
Why are you planning on this swap?
It should not be too much trouble as long as you are sure to use good judgement in matching up the parts you plan to use against the parts you are removing.
