New to forum
I'm new here and probaly in over my head again, it happens alot. Just bought an F1 in pieces, from looking at the grille it is a 48 49 50? NO title, yea I know, it was probably a dumb thing to do. Any ways I have numbers from the frame , cowl and glovebox and hope I may get some insight as to what I bought from some of the more knowledgeable forks on this board. Any help will certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Skalywag,
Welcome aboard! A lot of us started out the same way with incomplete projects from others. Do you have pics of what you bought? That might help identify what you are working with - you'd be surprised what little
clues are needed to tell you the year of truck your parts came from.
Good luck over there.

Welcome to the forum! If you want to post the numbers you found here, we can tell you everything we know about them. Having the title would be handy, but it's not the end of the world if you don't. It will depend on where you live as to if it'll be easy or hard to get your papers in order. Wherever that is, chances are someone here has been through the system and can help you through it.

Welcome, I hope you get your titel, so we can watch as you go. I dont think your in over you head as long as you get titel. I knew nothing when I bought mine and the people here helped me with anything I needed, aand still do. If you could post som pics of what you have, and put where you live in your personal information , that would come in handy with state laws, and parts ect. Welcome again.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome and encouragement. I don't have a digital camera right now, so no pics available. I'm in southwest Ohio. Here are some numbers. Frame-21C5087B Firewall-88RC114105 C. I hope this helps someone out there to pin this thing down. No stainless on grille bars, has a Ford Crest on ashtray. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Welcome to FTE. The Frame number (21C5087B) sounds like a part number. Where did you find it at? Look on both frame rail up by the engine mount? The Firewall-88RC114105 C
8 =1948
8R = V8
c = f1
114105 is the serial number for your truck.
Does your truck have the tag on the glove box?
