1970 f100 9" axle shaft???

Hello, I am new here and hope you guys can help me out!
So here is the problem im faced with... I bought a 1970 f100 2wd last year and this last weekend I blew up the rear end in it. I cant find any info on aftermarket axle shafts for this truck at all! I just bought a new 31 spline 3rd member but now I need axles... Who makes them? What is the length of them? Are both sides the same length? Are they the same as any other popular axle, like a 60's Mustang or something?
Thanks for any help!

For all things 9 inch, go to the original experts, Currie Enterprises is the answer.

Welcome to FTE

Passenger car 9" axleshafts are not the same as F100 and are usually right/left specific. F100 axle shafts are the same right/left.

The original expert: FoMoCo, everyone else is secondary and many of these so-called "experts" are totally unaware of the following:

1968/72 F100's were available with two different 9" rear axles.

One has 28 spline axleshafts (C8TZ-4234-A), t'other has a 9 3/8* ring gear and 31 spline axleshafts (C8TZ-4234-B).

Only five parts are the same 9 vs 9 3/8: Housing gasket, pinion seal, pilot bearing retainer, one pinion bearing and race.

EVERYTHING else is different! // How many splines does your axleshaft have?

They were 28 spline. But I just ordered up a 31 spline 3rd member so now I need axles. I cant believe that nobody in the aftermarket makes shafts for an f100!!! Ive called EVERYWHERE! They all tell me its gonna be a custom order deal... Anyone know who may have a stock set?
