Anyone in Northern Colorado thinking of a 3G swap?
I've got an idea to do a YouTube video and need a volunteer with a Dentside 73-79 (or Bumpside 67-72) that would want the 3G conversion done on their truck while I record the process.
In my opinion, even with tons of diagrams, pics and enough dialog to write a 10 volume book there are still way too many questions concerning the process of swapping the 1G and 3G alternators. A video may or may not help, but I am willing to tape the process, however, I no longer have a Dentside/Bumpside truck available to show the work involved and record the video.
Any takers? I'm not looking for noteriety or Youtube money, just want to help out the Ford "brethren" in their quest for the almighty 3G alternator.
Please respond here or send a PM
Josh

Yeah, I got it about 3 weeks ago. I also used to work across the street from you at design metal. I had the green/black lifted 98 dodge diesel and then had the white mega cab
