First find out what transmission it has (E4OD or 4R70W), then identify if it is Mass-Air or Speed-Density. Mass-Air will have the two intake tubes combining into one, going through a large sensor.
If it is Speed-Density, you can pretty much use any 5.0 PCM, as long as it out of a truck with the same transmission. If it is Mass-Air, you will need a Mass-Air computer witht he same transmission

Just got back from Pull-A-Part. I almost walked away from my exact PCM sitting there in the yard. I could not find a 1995 2WD truck, so I was about to leave. Came across a 1994 2WD 5.0, and thought I should just wait until i could find a 1995 truck. But curiosity got the best of me and i pulled the PCM out of the 1994 truck and to my surprise, it was the exact same part code > F4TF-12A650-APC .
Cost me $17.76 for a PCM. The price surprised me as much as finding one.
Payed an extra $2.80 for a 30 day warranty.
