So i swapped my blown c4 out for a c6 that was just taking up room at a friends shop. Well i tried to start it and it and it wont start it does this fast then slow turn(the fly wheel) Does this mean its not balanced correctly? or did i install it wrong? Is the starter going? any help would be great...
So the trans is bolted to the engine, the start installed, and all you get is a spinning starter, right? Does the starter engage the flexplate and spin that as well?
Something is installed incorrectly, and may now be damaged. OR you have the wrong depth starter.
yes the starter engages the flexplate and the first time i started it, it ran perfect...I think i will get the c4 rebuilt and sell the c6, but thank you for the response.
yes it did the first time i started it and i did nothing to it and the second time i turned the key it trys to start slow and then super fast then slow (talking about the flywheel spinning)
sorry even i dont understand what im saying in that last post.....i swapped the tranny and was all done i started it it ran fine so i turn it off well came back to the truck like 15min later and then it would not start
