Getting started

I have a 1979 F100, lifted, with a newly rebuilt Jasper 460, originally from a 72 Lincoln.
Have a friend with a powerjection 2 kit for sale fairly cheap. Looking for some threads that might help me decide if it's be a good idea.
Also if anyone can point me to threads discussion suspension.
Not looking to do anything insane, just some occasional trails.

Thanks!
