Just got a call from my son down in Yorktown, Va. from a gas station. His 2009 F250 6.4 L diesel will crank, but not start. Naturally, it is his only way to get around other than his motorcycle. He did say that the starter tried to stay engaged once, and he shut it down, but now it won't try to fire anymore......... I know that I can use the search, but I'm trying to find out as quick as possible to get him going, by long distance........ from Delaware! Help!

Only time my 6.4 did that was when the EGR Valve got stuck open. It did finally fire but ran very rough until I got it to the dealer.
