You are correct sir. EDIS may come as a coil pack that the plug wires directly connect to or it could be an individual ignition coil for each cylinder.

This string causes me to think over my last plug change to Motorcraft AGSF plugs and my mileage going really south to 14-15 mpg in my '99 Ranger 2WD, 3.0 shortbed. I have only 12,000 miles on the plugs and she has always averaged 17-19 combined since I bought her new. I'm getting no codes on my OBDII and it starts up like it did 15 years ago. I have heard that 15 year old O2 sensors will cause bad mileage too. Any smog guys reading this?

What part number for 2003 3.0L V6 Escape Dbl Platinum

The spark plug issue can be a bit boggling. There seems to be part numbers all claiming to be the same application .

SP433 AGSF32WM
SP400 AGSF22N

then somebody mentions the Autolight XP104 plugs

I have a 2003 Escape 3.0L V6, what is the correct double platinum spark plug part number to to source ?

SP433 is the now-current recommendation for your engine.

Coil pack?

It's especially bad upon reaching about 42 to 55 MPH. I really rattles then, so you have to back off the accelerator. Anybody think they might have a clue what's next ? Thanks Hank

Hank did you try replacing the coil pack?
