I don't know, but can I ask why you would want to do this?

Are you having some kind of problem with the filter?

Yeah....whatever you do....get quality possibly, braided lines...I had a relocater on my old 79 f350 and used the rubber lines that came with the kit. Big mistake....and equally big mess

I've seen kits in Summit catalogs. I wouldnt do it, I would do a bypass, there are already provisions for this built into your engine.

Lazy? You still have to crawl under there to remove the drain plug...

Oil running down your arm seems like you need to learn to poke a hole in the filter before removing it. Take a awl and poke a hole in the bottom, put the drain bucket under that and wait a few minutes. I rarely get much oil on my arms.

A bypass is like a normal filter, but it just takes some oil at a time and filters it extra.

I hope I remember that the next time I change my oil!
The last time I changed my oil I had oil on my hands (go figure) and managed to drop the whole d*mn oil filter upside down on my chest and face I was PO'd! LOL
Synthetic oil for some reason seems more difficult to clean off your skin.

EPS-20 Ford Powerstroke 7.3 Bypass Oil Filter kit

Its not a replacement filter, rather added protection. Extended oil changes and all that. I have had mine mounted on the side of the rail for 2 yrs now without issue. And the filter is a tightly woven cotton fiber type which filters at a slower rate and at lower pressure.

X-2 on the awl!

I take two chunks of duct tape when I go under. After the filter is drained, I wipe the bottom of the filter off then cover the hole with the tape to keep it from dripping.

Also adding a Fumoto drain valve makes the oil change so much nicer.

I dont use an awl, I use a screwdriver, that way if the filter doesnt come off, I dont have to go get another tool. Shove the screw driver through the side and turn lol. I've never had to do this on mine, but on my friends V10 the filter was rusted on. Even the screw driver in the side didnt work, it just ripped the cheap (non OEM) filter walls open.

I make sure I can turn the filter before I jab a hole in the bottom of it to drain the oil.
