freeze plugs on a 93 351
ok im not sure exactly if that is how they are spelled. But my muddy has a 93 or 94 bronco w/ a 351 and its an auotmatic also (not sure if that matters in the equation) any ways he said that he need to replace them since they are leaking collant once the truck is warmed up.
I have never even seen a freeze plug but want to help him replace them. Now how hard are they to replace? he said the ones on the back of the engine he cannot reach. Is there a way to get at them with out pulling the engine? (his idea)
If any of you have pics of them or a good right up on replacing them it would be great appreciated! Thanks again!

to remove a freeze plug, first drai the coolant from the motor, locate the freeze plug (it is a metal disc with a lip around the edge) and tap it with a hammer and chisel. It should pop open and allow you to pull it out with a pair of pliers. Installing them is just as easy. Clean the freeze plug opening, place the freeze plug over the opening and using a socket the same size, gently tap the plug into place. You can pick up the complete kit at your local parts store.
The ones in the rear of the motor can't be reached without the motor out.
