He had a rather large lift on it, hard to tell in the pick, but it was a total street queen. Gorgeous truck. He washed it every weekend.

A 5.0 coupe...or a cc PSD ...man that's a hard decision. I'm in the same boat..used to be ate up completely by the mustang thing. A divorce then remarry and now family.at this point I have no use for a five oh . now a model t that has room for the family and goes a top speed of 35. The family might someday enjoy that I hope.

Glenn,I noticed a different pic of that pup. It slips my mind, what is he/she name? We had my sis dog for 9 days while they were in Maine. I like dogs...just not need one of our own.I think its like being a grandparent..spoil her and send her home lol.

Funny, that's at least three of us that had Fox body mustangs. I wish I still had my '87. The wife never even got to ride in it. I had it when we met, but sold it soon after. I hope to have another one someday. The kids would sure enjoy it (c'mon honey, it's for the kids!!).

But for now, the truck is what I need. It hauls the whole family (and just about anything else) around and does what I need it to do.

As for dogs, we have a pair. They're a big commitment, but they're part of the family for sure. Here's a pic of our "pair of pooches"

Foxbodys are probably still my favorite cars out there. I'll probably be getting into some sort of muscle cars in a few more years when I discover that trucks are slow no matter what I do to them. LOL. My SD got just barely outrun by a pretty nice Chevelle the other night.. Afterwards I noticed my fuel pressure was dropping off to zero at WOT, but still I couldn't help thinking about what a Foxbody Mustang would have done to him with the same amount of money dumped into it. Turns out I hadn't changed my fuel filters in like 11,000 miles. Changed those out and fuel pressure holds steady again. lol

I went looking at new Mustangs 2 weeks ago.. That gave me the itch to go fast, but $44,500 for a Mustang is crazy.. That was the only one they had on the lot with the performance pack.. Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, etc.. Or $10,000 or less for a pretty nice Foxbody Coupe if I was to start looking for one. lol. Anyone want to buy an F-150 yet?

Sheesh! Yeah, it sounds like you had the bug pretty bad. I;d love to have mine back, but at the time, it needed more work than I had the tools, skills or funds for. '87 GT, 5.0, 5 speed. Black with a porno red interior. Had a sound system that would make you go deaf. Man, that car was a lot of fun. I was the happiest man alive at 18 with that car. I've regretted selling it ever since the moment it left.

I'll say it again, it sucks being a responsible grown up...

Aaron, she is a Westie (west highland terrier) and her name is Chamois. Like the leather chamois you dry your car with. Not sure how my wife and daughters came up with that name? My wife took care of all our other dogs because I was always gone at work. When she saw this one for sale I wanted it but she said NO, not unless you do all the work. You train it, feed it, walk it, the whole nine yards, then its OK. Well, I did and do everything and as a result we have bonded big time. She is my baby, LOL!!

Nice looking pair Nate, black & white!

I keep debating dumping the Expedition for a Mustang. I'd love to own one, but, just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

i know i an a little late to the conversation, but the best i can figure is i have owned over 85 vehicles over the past 45 years.
within 3 years of getting my license, i was told by DMV that if i bought another car within a year, i would have to get a dealers license.
12 years ago i had the 7 litre, 13 falcons, 3 crown vics, and 9 pickups registered and insured.
i have since thinned the herd to 1 falcon, the 7 litre, the crown vic, a 2015 edge for my parents, and 6 pickups.

Me and my dog went on a cruise after work today. 70 degrees with hardly any wind, almost a perfect day. Don't get many of those around here. Hopped in the ranger and cruised the countryside. Found a good spot to cut some firewood up for next year.

Dad has a 25yr anniversary convertible mustang. Nice car, but heavy and not very fast. With some work it could be, but my pickup will walk all over it now. It would take quite a bit of work to make it very fast as it weighs 4400lbs. It sure could be done though.

That's an awesome name Glenn. She looks adorable.

The mustangs count don't include the 20s 40s 50s 60s other vehicles.

All I want is my model t to be done!!!!!
