Price was extremely reasonable. Website makes it look like more of a professional establishment than they are. When you go there, it's just a hole in the wall with a couple of guys working on stuff type of place.
Thanks Chris! I'll look them up tomorrow.

So far rings stuck on both pistons I have removed.
Needs rod bearings too. Tomorrow I'll get it all torn down and a list of parts...my wife is not very happy with my low buck project dump truck.

Took the day off yesterday to go down to Ft. Pierre to watch Dylan compete in the SD state 4H finals rodeo. Got to see him set an arena record for SR boys saddle bronc with a score of 79, along with a 68 score on his first ride. It looks like he will be coming home with the trophy saddle. There is one more rodeo this morning, but the kid that is closest to catching Dylan would have to score an 86 to tie him, and an 87 to beat him. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. It was to hot to work yesterday anyway, it hit 105 degrees.

the official "the I should be working on my truck instead of typing thread"

A trophy saddle? That's a heck of a prize! Well worth the effort!

I finally had a weekend to myself this weekend. The better half and me have spent the last 3 months getting a mobile home ready to move and the property cleaned up it sits on. We got it here 2 weeks ago and finally got to relax. What did I do? Parked my a$$ on the couch, popped a top and watched a movie

2 days of hard hunting here! Took my buddy for his first hunt and he got a nice little fork. He's going to get another tag and come back next weekend to hunt for horns.

It is official, Dylan won the 4H rodeo yesterday. Along with the saddle, he also won the Casey Tibbs Memorial belt buckle for the highest score of the rodeo. I think that buckle impressed him more than the saddle. For those of you that haven't heard of Casey Tibbs, he was one of the greatest saddle bronc riders that has come out of South Dakota. He won several world saddle bronc championships in the late 40s and early 50s in pro rodeo. EDIT A little on Casey Tibbs http://www.prorodeohalloffame.com/in...y/casey-tibbs/

This is the second saddle Dylan has won this year. The first was for the SD High School Rodeo Saddle Bronc championship. Along with the saddles, he has also won 8 or 10 belt buckles, which include Reserve Champion at the National High School Rodeo Finals, and the same for National Little Britches Rodeo Finals this year. I'm really proud of, and happy for him for what he has accomplished this year.

Just read your other post Bill, Ya, I've been on that streak of things not going well.
I'm betting that thing doesn't weigh 1,000 pounds either...

Congratulations, Tom. It sounds like you've got one heck of a bronco buster there!
