Mimousa Dark Burlwood Wood Grain Dash Kit
figured id show ya guys my dash kit.
it's actually pretty nice.but as you can see,i show it's 3 flaws in the pics below.
3 incorrect cuts, and to top it off, they incorrect tapered them too.
tech support for this co. is nonexistent.so no help there.they don't even have contact info posted on their site lol.
i was going to send it back and try one from some other place.then i was going to cut off the incorrectly tapered ends so they would butt up better, then i thought better of things and figured id just hop on ebay for 3 little emblems of some sort and just put them over the incorrect cuts.so that's what i have planned.im sure i can find something that will look nice.when in doubt improvise.
anyway,as a hole,im pretty pleased with it and can resolve the issues with it myself.
however due to the lack of any customer support whatsoever, the price you pay for the kit and have it come with flaws,i wouldn't recommend buying your kit from them.id look somewhere else.
really too bad, because the stuff is GREAT quality and self adhesives very strongly.if not for incorrect cuts, and no support,it would get a 10 out of 10 stars.
i think it adds a nice touch to the old gal though.
oops.i guess i didn't show all 3 incorrect cuts.
well, anyway, the 3rd incorrect cut matches the one on the drivers door i take a pic off.same issue on the pass side door.
it's really the incorrect one above the glove box,to the left, over the vent, that stands out at ya.
